Hired by the San Jose Water Company to review its large portfolio of properties, ascertain which could be converted into much higher and better use, this site clearly rose to the top of the list. Located across from the SAP Arena, near to one of largest multi-modal transportation hubs in northern California and in the heart of San Jose, the right approvals would multiply its value.
Put together and led a team of consultants to obtain a General Plan amendment for high density office/residential development that required negotiations with FAA due to its proximity to San Jose International Airport. Site was then sold to Adobe who then sold it to Google, whose intent was to make it the cornerstone of their planned 7M square foot downtown San Jose development.
